WCML Diversion passing through Clitheroe

Steve writes:

We are all familiar with the workings of trains and locations, but how we seem to forget the men and women, who work on the infrastructure to keep the trains going in all weathers. I am therefore enclosing some pictures taken in 1995 -96 before privatisation, around the Blackburn, Burnley area, and also Whalley Viaduct, when it had wooden sleepers.
