TODMORDEN CURVE

Diverging to the right, close to the former Stansfield Hall Station, is the truncated remains of the "Todmorden Curve", as viewed in Spring 2011,
which formally hosted a direct service from Preston to Todmorden, and which ceased in 1972.
Re-instatement of the curve would enable the introduction of a service to Manchester Victoria via Rochdale from East Lancs Stations.
