Nigel Kirby, Webmaster, writes:

As contributors to RVRNews are only too well aware, much time is spent on researching material for articles, many quite original, and I personally feel they deserve a much wider readership.

Therefore I am starting to prepare and to post on the website many such articles of special interest, which have appeared in previous issues of RVRNews.

In some cases, it is intended to revise the material of the articles, and perhaps include photographs that could not be reproduced adequately, or simply were just not available for use when the articles initially appeared in print.

Brian Haworth has always been a prominent author in this respect, and I am including below two of his articles but now supplemented here by colour photographs and maps, the original reproduction being in monochrome, necessitated by printing costs.

This is an area of development, with further articles, and also those featuring other authors, being considered. Watch this space!
