There's a notice from the landowner just appeared on the entrance to Whalley station from the car park.  He is proposing to fence off the car park (and hence close the access ramp) from the end of May 2022.

 

This is a matter which has been going on now for some months and is in the hands of the legal departments of both Network Rail and Northern Railways.

We can only hope for a positive outcome from their negotiations before May for all concerned.
