Recent engineering work in Clitheroe

Clitheroe has been the scene of engineering work over the past couple of weeks. Near the   station, there has been work to refurbish the bridge (between Railway View Rd and    Chester Ave)

whilst – a few hundred yards south of the station – the level crossing on Thorn St/Eshton Terrace has seen major renovation. This involved road closures affecting much of the town but work at both locations is now (late November) complete.
