Here is a little information about the line's stations (past and present), the traffic that uses it, and some of the features that passengers can see along the route

Formerly, there have been stations at Daisyfield, Wilpshire (for Ribchester), Chatburn, Rimington, Gisburn, and Newsholme.

Here is some information about the current regular passenger service.

On summer Sundays, the Dalesrail service operates.

Additionally there are some passenger excursions and 'special' workings.

The line also sees some regular freight traffic.
