Gisburn tunnel

In common with many of the line's structures, the tunnel is grade 2 listed and is just north of the site of the old station. The turrets were recently restored by Network Rail, winning them praise in the National Railway Heritage Awards in 2018. Here is more information about the tunnel and nearby old station
